OPENVIEW WINS NATIONWIDE CONTRACTS TO MAINTAIN FIRE SAFETY AND WARDEN CALL SYSTEMS FOR FIRSTPORT

OpenView Security Solutions has been awarded two major contracts to provide compliance and maintenance services for FirstPort, the largest residential property management company in the UK. The contracts are to support all fire safety and emergency warden call systems installed at independent living developments nationwide, helping FirstPort to consistently meet the highest safety standards and deliver best value for customers.

A spokesperson for FirstPort Retirement Property Services said:  “We are pleased to announce the appointment of OpenView as our new partner to maintain and repair these critical security systems across our portfolio of retirement properties.  It demonstrates our commitment to provide the highest standards of safety for all of our residents and continually drive up standards across our business, We are confident that the contract, which puts in place clear response times for repairs, represents the best deal available for our customers and ensures we can continue to support the requirements of every home we manage.”

The contracts were awarded following a comprehensive and independently-managed competitive tender process which benchmarked all potential partners on the quality and competitiveness of their service at every stage.  With a highly experienced workforce, comprehensive list of accreditations and a strategically located network of regional offices, OpenView provided the technical capability, experience and financial stability to deliver a best fit service across the nationwide Retirement portfolio of FirstPort.

According to OpenView Security Solutions; “We are delighted to have been awarded these two key contracts which confirms that OpenView has the size and scale to provide high quality maintenance and compliance solutions on a nationwide basis. We are look forward to working closely with FirstPort and its residents.”

OpenView will assume full responsibility for these services after a smooth handover from the incumbent suppliers between June and November 2018.
