Job Title: Sale Support
Department : Sales
Location: Romford
Reporting to: the Head of Bids
Manage all Portal Traffic on a daily basis and identify suitable opportunities and or Tenders for the business via daily notifications from:
- Tenders Direct
- Tracker
- Manage and update all Portal related data such as Company Profiles and key contacts etc.
Review Tender Opportunity Notifications on a daily basis – checking with colleagues and Head of Bids if we are interested in the bid
Once opportunities are identified you will be responsible for;
- Logging it on CRM – to generate a unique reference number
- Expressing Interest in the Tender or Opportunity via the Portal
- Download associated Documentation i.e. Tender, SQ, ESPD etc.
- Log it on Tenders and PQQ Log
Review and update the Tender Log on a daily basis with all new Updates and Opportunties
Provide additional support to the Business Development Team in terms of Clarifications for example:
- Log all Clarifications coming in via email and record in the ‘Clarification Folder’
- Notify all those involved in the bid of the ‘Clarification’
- Respond to ‘Clarifications’ on behalf of team
Update the Current Tenders and Framework File – as and when required
Assist in updating Case Studies – as and when required
Take shared responsibility of completing SQ’s and ESPD’s until fully trained and competent to complete independently
Update the Reference Log
Update the Business Development Library with new information as and when required
Arrange accommodation for Sales Director as and when required
Liaise with Sales and Business Development teams located nationwide on a daily basis
Liaise with Sales and Business Development teams nationwide on current tenders and clarification follow-ups etc.
Record all contract related data on the Business Development Library for future use – always check with colleagues where to save data to ensure the most appropriate files are utilised and for ease of reference for the team nationwide
